Generate QR Codes That Never Expire

This free QR code generator produces static QR codes — the information is encoded directly into the black-and-white pattern rather than pointing at a tracking redirect. That means your codes have no expiry date, no scan limits, and no monthly fees. Once you download a code, it works forever, even offline and even if this website disappears.

One Tool, Seven Content Types

  • URL & Text: Link to any website, landing page, or plain text note.
  • WiFi: Let guests join your network by scanning — no more spelling out passwords.
  • Email, Phone & SMS: Pre-fill a message, dial a number, or start a text with one scan.
  • vCard: Share your full contact card so people can save your details instantly.

PNG for Screens, SVG for Print

Download a crisp 1024px PNG for websites, presentations, and social media, or export a resolution-independent SVG for business cards, posters, packaging, and large-format signage. Adjust the error correction level to make codes more resilient to damage, and tune the quiet-zone margin and colors to match your brand — while keeping enough contrast to stay scannable.

Privacy by Design

Everything happens locally in your browser using the open-source qrcode engine. Your links, credentials, and contact information are never uploaded to any server, making this a safe choice for sensitive data such as WiFi passwords and private contact details.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are these QR codes free and do they ever expire?

Yes. Every QR code generated here is completely free, static, and never expires. Because the data is encoded directly into the QR pattern, there is no redirect or short link that can break — the code will keep working forever, even if this site goes offline.

Is my data sent to a server?

No. This generator runs 100% in your browser. Your URLs, WiFi passwords, contact details, and any other content never leave your device and are never uploaded, logged, or stored anywhere.

Should I download PNG or SVG?

Use PNG for websites, social media, documents, and slides — it works everywhere. Use SVG for print, large signage, or anything that needs to scale to any size without becoming blurry, since SVG is resolution-independent vector graphics.

What is error correction and which level should I pick?

Error correction lets a QR code still scan even if part of it is dirty, damaged, or covered by a logo. Low (7%) makes the code less dense; High (30%) makes it more robust but denser. Medium is a good default. Choose High if the code will be printed small or placed in a rough environment.

How does the WiFi QR code work?

Enter your network name (SSID), password, and encryption type. Scanning the generated code with a phone camera prompts the user to join the WiFi network automatically — no typing the password. This works on modern iOS and Android devices.

Why did my custom colors make the QR code stop scanning?

Scanners rely on strong contrast between the foreground and background. Keep the foreground dark and the background light, and avoid inverting them (light code on dark background scans poorly). If scanning fails, revert to black on white.
